How to Resolve the Unknown Device with Hardware ID ACPI\MSFT0101 Issue

This device corresponds to the TPM module, which does not have a driver. Unfortunately, there is no Windows 7 (W7) 32-bit driver for that device. If you switch to W7 64-bit, you can install this hotfix. It is only good for W7 64-bit.

The unknown device hardware ID is ACPI MSFT0101, which indicates the Security Chip TPM setting issue.

I have zipped up and attached the Microsoft. This article describes a hotfix that adds support for Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 in Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.
