Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton, who play Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton on the hit Netflix show Bridgerton, have teased some upcoming news that is sure to get fans excited.
In an exclusive interview with Variety, the two stars opened up about the upcoming season and what fans can expect from their characters' relationships.
"We can't say too much, but we can say that there's a lot of exciting stuff coming up for Penelope and Colin," Coughlan said. "Their relationship is really going to evolve in a big way."
Newton added, "I think fans are going to be really excited to see where their relationship goes. It's going to be a lot of fun."
The two stars also teased that there will be some big surprises in the upcoming season.
"There's going to be a lot of twists and turns," Coughlan said. "I think fans are going to be on the edge of their seats."
Newton added, "We can't wait for fans to see what we have in store for them."
